Nayeon is the first member of TWICE who officially debuts as a solo artist.
Her solo debut was announced back on May 19 via TWICE’s social media pages. At the time, it was revealed that she would be debuting solo with the official album IM NAYEON.
The social media handle teased her mini-album poster with bottles of nail polish and jewelry. It also confirmed that the pre-orders for the mini-album will start on May 24 at 1 PM KST/0 AM EST.
Nayeon’s Solo Debut Mini-Album ‘IM NAYEON’
The mini-album IM NAYEON is set to release via various music platforms on June 24 at 1 PM KST/0 AM EST. The physical album will be available in four versions, including photo albums and more.
JYP Entertainment teased the sneak peek of her mini-album IM NAYEON on June 20. The two minutes 38 seconds teaser showed her seven official tracks, which are as follows:
- POP!
- No Problem (feat. Felix of Stray Kids)
- Love Countdown (feat. Wonstein)
- Candyfloss
- All or Nothing
- Happy Birthday To You
- Only The Sunset Is Pretty
Nayeon herself wrote the lyrics for the two tracks Love Countdown and All or Nothing.
Title Track ‘POP!’ And M/V Teasers
The first music video of Nayeon’s titled POP! is set to premiere on June 24. Depending on your timezone, you can see the official countdown or watch the official M/V below.
JYP dropped the first M/V teaser for the title track POP! of Nayeon’s first mini-album IM NAYEON on June 21.
A day later, on June 22, JYP displayed the second M/V teaser of the title track POP!.
The visuals on both her M/Vs teaser show gorgeous Nayeon, and the netizens have become pretty much excited about her music video.
Undoubtedly, she will be melting ONCE’s heart with her comeback.
TWICE’s Support Nayeon’s Solo Debut
Dahyun of TWICE will be supporting her fellow member Nayeon’s solo debut appearing on MBC’s Show! Music Core, allkop.com reports. She is set to co-host the broadcast with MC Kim Min Joo on June 25.
She will be the special MC of the broadcast as Stray Kids’ Lee Know and NCT’s Jungwoo will be absent due to their oversea concert schedules.
Earlier, TWICE’s Momo and Chaeyoung appeared on the show Amazing Saturday and promoted Nayeon’s solo debut. The sneak peeks of tvN’s variety show on June 18 showcased the idols tagging alongside Nayeon, demonstrating their strong moral support.
Momo and Chaeyoung danced together with Nayeon on her upcoming solo track POP!. The K-POP idols were excited to dance to the rhythm of Nayeon’s new song.
Meanwhile, the rest of the TWICE’s members have already sent lovely messages in support of Nayeon’s solo debut, as shown in the interview poster included in the project.
