Absolute Zero is the first mini album by South Korean singer Baekho. The former NU’EST member dropped his album on October 12, 2022, under Pledis Entertainment.
While the K-pop band NU’EST split just weeks before their 10th anniversary, Baekho and his former member Minhyun renewed their contract with Pledis Entertainment. In addition, he was announced as a solo artist on September 21, 2022, with the upcoming release date of his solo debut album Absolute Zero.
According to his agency, his solo album captures the temperature of Baekho through ‘absolute zero,’ also known as zero kelvins that appear in cryogenic conditions.
‘Absolute Zero’ Mini Album Has Six Tracks
Baekho’s first mini-album Absolute Zero contains six tracks and features Glen Check’s June One and South Korean rapper Sik-K.
His mini album Absolute Zero consists of the tracks as follows:
- Festival In My Car
- LOVE BURN
- No Rules
- We don’t care no more (Feat. June One of Glen Check)
- BAD 4 U
- Wanna Go Back (변했다고 느끼는 내가 변한 건지) (Feat. Sik-K)
Baekho’s mini-album is available to stream on platforms like Melon, Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music.
His Mini Album’s Official M/V, ‘No Rules’
Baekho has dropped his official music video for the track No Rules. It is the lead single from his album Absolute Zero, which was released on October 12 at 5 AM (ET).
Within an hour, his music video for the lead song gained 40 thousand of views. It was dropped under HYPE LABELS, which is also an owner of Pledis Entertainment.
His Journey From NU’EST To Solo Artist
Kang Dong-ho, aka Baekho, was a trainee for Pledish Entertainment before joining the company in 2010. He debuted with NU’EST (New Establish Style Tempo) as the main vocalist on March 15, 2012.
With his band members JR, Aron, Minhyun, and Ren, Baekho released four studio albums and eight mini-albums. Unfortunately, the group disbanded on March 15, 2022, after completing a ten-year contract with Pledis Entertainment.
He then debuted as a solo artist and even opened his new Twitter account on April 1, 2022. Since then, Baekho has been focusing and working hard on his vocals as a soloist.
He even held his first fan meeting as a solo artist at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, from July 15 to 17. The Kpop artist confirmed his official fan club name as ‘dOnO.’
