Earlier today, the award-winning journalist took her Instagram to announce the news of her last weekend’s show with CBS New York, replacing Andrea Grymes.

Her new program on September 12, ‘CBS 2 News at 9,’ will replace The Drew Barrymore Show. At 9:30 A.M., it broadcasts simultaneously on WCBS and CBS New York.

Apart from being a reporter, she has involved herself in community work and has worked with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She and her younger sister have worked for the Asian Professional Exchange (APEX) for over two decades.

She Has Roots Towards China

Cindy Hsu is a Chinese American news reporter whose parents immigrated to the US from China. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on May 6, 1966.

Her family moved to various places as her father was a Coast Guard pilot. She has a brother named David Hsu, who worked at the Office of the Secretary of Defense Intelligence & Security.
