In addition, he was announced as a solo artist on September 21, 2022, with the upcoming release date of his solo debut album Absolute Zero.

According to his agency, his solo album captures the temperature of Baekho through ‘absolute zero,’ also known as zero kelvins that appear in cryogenic conditions.

His Journey From NU’EST To Solo Artist

Kang Dong-ho, aka Baekho, was a trainee for Pledish Entertainment before joining the company in 2010. He debuted with NU’EST (New Establish Style Tempo) as the main vocalist on March 15, 2012.

With his band members JR, Aron, Minhyun, and Ren, Baekho released four studio albums and eight mini-albums. Unfortunately, the group disbanded on March 15, 2022, after completing a ten-year contract with Pledis Entertainment.

He then debuted as a solo artist and even opened his new Twitter account on April 1, 2022. Since then, Baekho has been focusing and working hard on his vocals as a soloist.

He even held his first fan meeting as a solo artist at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, from July 15 to 17. The Kpop artist confirmed his official fan club name as ‘dOnO.’
