Season 2 of The Devil Is a Part-Timer! is a much-anticipated anime series that will be broadcast this summer. And the promotional video has shed some light on the journey of the demon king Sadao Maou and his pals.
Earlier today, Muse Asia’s YouTube showcased a promotional video showcasing the new look of Chio, Emilia, and Maou. Muse had acquired the license to broadcast season 2 of the anime series in Asia.
The two-and-a-half-second promotional video started by showing Sadao’s residence, where Chio and Emilia visit him. It showed the returning characters like Ashiya, Urushihara, and Suzuno. The TV anime series also introduced new characters like Alas Ramus.
And what’s more, Sadao has finally brought a TV into his house. The video ends with Emilia warning him not to watch a weird program before the trailer reveals that the anime broadcast will start in July 2022.

When Is The Release Date?
It has been nine years since season one of The Devil Is a Part-Timer! ended its serialization on June 27, 2013. Finally, after the long wait, Season 2 is scheduled to be released on June 10, 2022. It will be available on the sources like Crunchyroll and Funimation.
The TV animation was announced during the 2020 Kadokawa Light Novel Expo on March 6, 2021. Since then, the fans have been anticipating the new story and characters of the series.
What Is The Story/Plot?
Season 2 will cover the daily life of the Overlord and the hero in Sasazuka. The previous season showed Sadao building a solid relationship with Emilia despite once being enemies. So the new season is expected to bring them even closer.
White Fox adapted the TV animation wrapping Season 1 with 13 episodes. The new season is also expected to continue this trend with a 12 to 13-episode-anime adaptation.

The second season of The Devil Is a Part-Timer! is produced by Studio 3Hz and Daisuke Tsukushi is the director.
The returning cast members include Ryota Ohsaka as Sadao Mao, Yoko Hikasa as Emilia, and Nao Toyama as Chiho. Suzuno is voiced by Kanae Ito, Ashiya by Yuki Ono, and Urushihara by Hiro Shimono. Meanwhile, as the new cast member, Hina Kino voices Alas Ramus.
Season 2 opening theme song is WITH, performed by Minami Kuribayashi, and the ending song is Marina Horiuchi’s Mizukagami no Sekai.
