K-Pop’s iconic group BLACKPINK Lisa’s much-anticipated solo debut album ‘LALISA’ has set a new record.
Just four days since the pre-order sales, ‘LALISA’ surpassed 700 thousand stock pre-orders, as of August 30, YG Entertainment revealed. The pre-order album sales began on August 26.
Lisa has broken the pre-order sales records, and her solo debut album has become one of the highest pre-order records by a solo female K-Pop artist. The sales are expected to grow more as there are several days ahead of the album release.
The album pre-order came from South Korea, Europe, the US, Southeast Asia, Japan, and China. With these sales records, Lisa has proved her overwhelming global market influence.
According to the source from YG, the maknae of BLACKPINK, Lisa, in her solo album debut, ‘will show a charismatic performance that manifests her true musical identity.’
‘LALISA’ Mysterious Two Visual Teasers
BLACKPINK’s YouTube channel dropped the first visual teaser on 27 August.
The first enigmatic visual teaser features lightning flashes with a dark and mysterious vibe as Lisa enrobed a mini dress with high pigtails.
Meanwhile, the second visual teaser came out on 31 August.
The new eerie visual teased an industrial sound while hanging much of the details on the cliffhanger before closing out with the album’s release date and title.
BLACKPINK’s other members Jennie, Rose, and Jisoo, also showed their support for Lisa’s new solo debut by sharing the teaser on their respective Instagram stories.
Lisa’s Solo Debut Will Be Released On September 10
Earlier on 22 August, Lisa teased her upcoming solo album debut via her Instagram captioning, ‘COMING SOON.’ It was a surprising moment for BLACKPINK’s fans as they were excited about the fuss of her much-anticipated debut.
On 26 August, she finally spilled the beans regarding her first debut single album revealing the title as ‘LALISA.’ At the time, social media went frenzy, and many congratulated her for the upcoming solo debut album release.
‘LALISA’ is expected to release on September 10 at 1 p.m. (KST), midnight (ET) on various music sites. An hour before the album release, Lisa is expected to share the exciting moment with her fans with a live countdown on Naver’s V Live.
