In the surprising turn of events, the best in the world Punk was attacked by the tag-team duo of Daniel Garcia and 2.0 in AEW Dynamite on Wednesday. After being saved by Sting and Darby Allin, he finished Garcia with his stunning finisher, Go to Sleep.

Afterwards, there was some heated moment between Punk and Allin. Sting took the attention of both by saying that the duo will face each other on AEW All Out.

CM Punk AEW Contract Details

CM Punk, as he said, left professional wrestling on August 13, 2005. He was back to the pro-wrestling scene on August 20, 2021.

He made a sensational return in his hometown Chicago appearing at AEW Rampage. The crowds looked overwhelmed and cheered in his entrance theme Cult Of Personality by Living Colour.

Punk’s debut was planned for 18 months by AEW CEO Tony Khan, according to sportskeeda.com. He was not brought during Pandemic Era due to no audience attendance.

Tony Khan also assured that the contract with CM Punk was not a short-term or a part-time thing as he seeks the longest WWE reigning champion to stay at AEW full-time.
