Huge news for the global KPOP fans. TWICE is making a comeback.
The official Instagram of TWICE announced on May 5 that the JYP girl group is returning with the 10th mini-album, ‘Taste of Love.’ The release date for the upcoming album is on June 9 and June 11.
The digital and physical pre-orders for the mini-album ‘Taste of Love’ will start on May 10.
The music video for the title track is shot on Jeju Island, the largest island in South Korea.
The agency behind TWICE, JYP Entertainment, has since confirmed the news by releasing the statement:
“TWICE is preparing for their comeback with the goal of it happening in June. Currently they are filming their music video on Jeju Island.”
This time, the stakes on TWICE are quite high because the band has not released any albums in 2021. Previously they released a full-length album titled Eyes Wide Open in October 2020.
In the unfortunate turns of the event, TWICE lead vocalist Jeongyeon was unable to attend the album Eyes Wide Open promotions.
Back on October 17, 2020, JYP Entertainment announced that Jeongyeon would take a rest due to suffering from ‘psychological anxiousness.’ Fortunately, she returned at the 30th Seoul Music Awards after three months hiatus regarding her health.

Jeongyeon is not the first member who took hiatus from TWICE. In August 2019, one of TWICE’s Japanese three members, Mina, took a break due to anxiety.
Regardless, the fans are now excited for the full-group comeback with their mini-album ‘Taste of Love.’
Before their much-anticipated comeback, TWICE teased a new Japanese single titled KURA KURA in April 2021, and their digital single titled CRY FOR ME in December 2020.
