Korean actress Park Shin-hye and her actor husband Choi Tae-joon have officially become parents. The couple welcomes a baby boy, Shin-hye’s agency Salt Entertainment confirmed the good news.
The K-Pop drama actress gave birth to a healthy boy in a hospital in Seoul. Both of them are in good health, Salt Entertainment confirms.
Back in November 2021, Shin-hye officially announced her pregnancy. Since then, she and Tae-joon have been over the moon to embrace their bundle of joy.
Their Secret Relationship
Park Shin-hye and Choi Tae-joon are college friends who later turned husband-and-wife.
The lovely couple started dating secretly in late 2017. They were spotted together on numerous occasions, whether at the convenience store or on a vacation in the countryside with their friends.
Their relationship was not confirmed until March 2018, before their agency released a statement announcing that they were dating.
Their marriage was announced back on November 23, 2021- the same day when Shin-hye officially confirmed that she was pregnant with a child.
The couple got married on January 22, 2022. They tied a knot at a church ceremony held in Seoul in the presence of family and friends.
The private ceremony was packed with popular South Korean celebrities. AOA’s Seolhyun, 2AM’s Seulong, IU, and Zico, were among the notable stars in the star-studded nuptials.
After their wedding, Shin-hye and Tae-joon took their social media to thank those who attended their ceremony.
Who Is Park Shin-hye?
Park Shin-hye is a South Korean actress who started her career as a child actress starring in Stairway to Heaven (2003) and Tree of Heaven (2006). Later, she gained mainstream recognition by appearing in a 2013 Korean-highest-grossing film, Miracle in Cell No. 7.
She appeared in the hit drama Pinocchio (2014-2015), The Doctors (2016), and Netflix’s The Call (2020). She has also starred in the music videos of Kim Jong-kook’s Letter and Lee Hong-gi’s Insensible.
Who Is Choi Tae-joon?
Choi Tae-joon is a South Korean actor who made his acting debut as a child star in the TV series Piano (2001). He gained global recognition playing the role of Choi Tae-ho in Missing 9 (2017).
He has appeared in several TV shows and web series like Mother’s Garden, The Undateables, and The Guy’s Voice, to name a few. Tae-joon is also the host of KBS Hello Counselor and has appeared on Urban Zakapa’s song When We Were Two.
